Hola, Friends! 👋
I’m Noemi—first-gen Latina, proud daughter of Mexican roots, and the founder of The Bright Side Group.
I built BSG to be the go-to hub for problem-solvers, changemakers, and teams who are ready to ditch the fluff and make real progress. As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Prosci Change Practitioner, and PMP-certified project leader, I bring serious tools to the table—but I never lose sight of what matters most: people, culture, and community.
My Story?
I was born in Sunnyside, WA to a family that taught me grit, heart, and the power of asking for what you want. As a first-generation Latina, I know what it’s like to build something from the ground up—and that’s exactly what I’ve done for the last decade as a consultant, coach, and trainer.
With 16+ years in public service, 7 in retail, 2 in healthcare, and 11 years in consulting, I’ve seen how broken systems can drain people—and how the right tools and mindset can turn that around.
What I’m Known For:
🔸 Making Lean Six Sigma accessible, especially for those new to it
🔸 Helping women (especially fellow jefas) become expert problem-solvers
🔸 Designing trainings that are fun, fast, and actually useful
🔸 Building a badass community of learners through BSG’s programs
By the Numbers:
💡 200+ Workshops Facilitated
🎓 236+ Students Trained in 2024 (and counting)
🏛️ 25+ Agencies & Industries Represented
🌎 Sectors Served: Government, Healthcare, Higher Ed, and Small Business
One thing I’ll always believe: The power to lead change already lives in you—you just need the tools, support, and space to activate it. That’s what The Bright Side is all about.
Let’s get to work—and have some fun along the way. Welcome to the Bright Side. ✨
How I Got Here…
Alright, so who am I when I’m not teaching, consulting, or running BSG? Let’s rewind a bit.
I’m a proud Latina, born and raised in Sunnyside, WA, with deep Mexican roots. My parents? Total rockstars. They worked long, hard hours as farmworkers—picking apples, cherries, grapes—you name it. And yep, I was right there with them. I may not have loved those crack-of-dawn mornings, but those lunch breaks? Tacos de chorizo in the back of a truck? Unmatched.
These days, I’m living in Olympia, WA with my husband, our two amazing kids (Raymond and Juliana), and a whole crew of pets—two cats, a dog, a couple of axolotls, and a pond with three goldfish. Oh—and my oldest, Nate, made me a Mimi (yes, I was a teen mom at 17), and our granddaughter Juniper is the brightest little light in our lives.
Work-wise, it’s been a journey. I started in retail, then landed my first state job as an Office Assistant—basically the one everyone came to with their questions. I loved it. But I always had dreamer eyes. I’d see someone in a leadership role and think, “I could do that too.”
And that’s exactly what I did.
I leaned into every opportunity I could find—training, mentoring, and learning everything I could about Continuous Improvement, change management, and leading with purpose. That curiosity and drive brought me here—to building a business, training future problem-solvers, and helping others rise.
So hey—let’s connect. I’ve got stories for days, a deep love for sharing what I’ve learned, and I’m always down to grow with good people.
¡Vamos! Let’s go.
