Learning & Facilitation Coordinator (Full-Time, Olympia, WA)
Job description
Are you someone who loves helping people learn, making things run smoothly, and jumping in to support where it matters most? Do you get excited about organizing chaos, bringing energy to virtual rooms, and being a key player behind high-impact trainings?
We’re The Bright Side Group, a mission-driven training and consulting firm that helps government agencies, nonprofits, and small businesses fix what’s broken, build what’s better, and solve real problems using Lean Six Sigma and other practical tools.
We’re growing—and we’re looking for a full-time Learning & Facilitation Coordinator to grow with us.
💼 About the Role
This is a full-time, remote position (WA-based only) with a balance of training facilitation and client operations. You’ll help deliver high-impact training sessions, support learners, and keep everything running behind the scenes.
You don’t need to be a certified Lean Six Sigma expert (yet). We’ll train you. But you do need to be reliable, proactive, people-smart, and excited to make systems and experiences better.
Note: Most of our work is virtual, but occasional in-person training or events may happen in Western Washington. Reliable transportation is helpful.
🧩 What You’ll Do
🎓 Training & Workshop Support (35%)
Co-facilitate virtual (and occasionally in-person) training sessions and workshops across a variety of topics (Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, leadership, and more)
Support live facilitation through timekeeping, notes, managing breakout rooms, and engaging learners
Prep materials including slide decks, virtual whiteboards, and handouts
Assist with tech logistics (Zoom, Thinkific, and shared folders)
Eventually lead select training modules or workshop activities
📦 Client & Learner Operations (30%)
Manage registrations, reminders, onboarding, and certificates
Set up classes in Thinkific and Zoom
Be the friendly, responsive point of contact between sessions
🛠 Internal Projects (20%)
Update slides, organize content, and manage post-class resources
Support content uploads, surveys, and system improvements
Help document and improve recurring processes
🤝 Client Engagement Support (15%)
Schedule client meetings and prep logistics
Assist with proposals, follow-up emails, and agenda building
Track action items and help prepare for workshops and follow-ups
🌱 Help Us Grow
We’re a growing business—and we welcome your ideas. If you’re someone who loves to brainstorm ways to improve the learner experience, streamline systems, or build client relationships—we’re all ears. If you’ve got a creative sales or engagement brain, bring it. We’re looking for someone who wants to contribute, collaborate, and shape what Bright Side becomes next.
🌟 Who This Role Is Perfect For
You love learning and teaching (even informally)
You’ve led trainings, workshops, or group sessions before
You’re naturally organized and detail-oriented
You have strong communication and follow-through
You’re based in Washington State
You’re open to occasional in-person facilitation or meetings (usually in Western WA)
Experience Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience supporting or delivering training, workshops, or educational sessions
Experience with virtual facilitation tools like Zoom, Teams, or virtual whiteboards
Experience coordinating logistics, managing schedules, and juggling multiple moving parts
Familiarity with tools like Canva, Google Suite, and learning platforms (Thinkific, Teachable, etc.) is a plus
Bonus if you’ve worked in government, education, consulting, or mission-driven organizations.
✅ Details & Compensation
Status: Full-time employee (W-2)
Location: Washington State (mostly remote)
Pay Range: $50,000–$62,000/year (depending on experience)
Perks:
Paid time off (vacation, sick, and holidays)
Training and certification opportunities included
Healthcare stipend or reimbursement plan after 6 months
Room to grow into a lead trainer, training manager, or client engagement coordinator
